We are excited to announce Mount Zion Baptist Church’s upcoming 160th Anniversary Celebration, taking place from June through November 2026.

It is with great joy, gratitude, and anticipation that we invite you to join us in celebrating this remarkable milestone. For 160 years, God has sustained Mount Zion Baptist Church, guiding us through generations of worship, fellowship, service, and ministry. This special occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on our rich heritage, rejoice in God’s faithfulness, and recommit ourselves to the work He has called us to do.

Under the theme, “Honoring Our Legacy, Embracing Our Future: Love in Action,” a series of commemorative events has been planned to celebrate our history and inspire our future.

160th Anniversary Gala

A special highlight of our celebration will be the 160th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel. This elegant evening will feature a national recording artist, fellowship, celebration, and recognition of God’s faithfulness throughout our church’s history.

Tickets are $175 per person and are available for purchase through the Zeffy Fundraising platform. For those who prefer, tickets will also be available for in-person purchase at the church on select Sundays.

We invite all members, former members, family, friends, and community partners to join us throughout this historic celebration as we honor our legacy, embrace our future, and continue demonstrating God’s love in action.
